So what's the story about drug tests when you work at a public school system? I've heard some people have to take them, and others don't.

This was like 4 years ago but when I worked at a public school I had to take a medical test.

I'm not sure how that would work if you're hired abroad???? Maybe it's best to stop smoking the wacky weed for a few weeks before you come. Then after a year, go back home and go nuts.

I work in a Gyeongi-do public school. A few months back, all teachers at my school, inc. myself had to take a medical, including blood test. I never found out if they checked for drugs

So stupid. All they need is a hair sample. Any major US company uses hair now instead of urine. Well I guess you could shave your head. But then they could use a pubic sample.

My employer in Kansas City uses a saliva test. You get a small sponge on a stick to collect the saliva and drip it on a plastic thing that looks like a pregnancy test.

I don't want to get sticked outside the United States unless absolutely necessary. I read an article in my Amnesty International newsletter about recycled medical devices. They pay kids in third world countries to repackage used medical devices in new counterfit packaging so it looks like new but may be contaminated with who knows what hiv hep C??

I taken classes where we stick each other and I've pushed the needle into my own arm before but after reading that article the less I get stuck the better. -Jeff
