Foreigners walk in straight lines. This has been determined by Dr. Englebert Kim from a silvered windowed 'blind' using binolculars observing a busy Kangnam intersection. This is in contrast to Koreans, who walk 'as the crow flies'.

The reason for this cultural difference in pedal locomotory style is due to Koreans long affinity with nature. No animal in nature walks in a straight line, nor bird in the sky. Another reason is Korea's topography, 70 percent mountainous, where it would be folly to walk through and not around mountains.

Another sociologist, Dr. Ferdinand Choi, refers to foreigners as 'timebombs' on a slow release fuse an indicator of which is their habit of walking like 'human steamrollers'.
