| Supposedly there would be a lot of anti-American demonstrations on Independence Day. Did you see any? I guess Anyang is too small for anything but a few more flags being put up. |

I accidentally caught Arirang News the morning after and they only reported the official ceremonies. Didn't mention any protests at all. Didn't see any mention in the two Korean dailies I check every day either.
If they took place, nothing news-worthy happened. Clearly, the demonstrations themselves were not considered such. |
