| RaceTrac convenience store in my hometown cards EVERYONE for cigs and alcohol. I saw them card some old woman, probably about 70+ years old for cigs and she told the cashier "You've got to be kidding". There were even signs posted that said everyone gets carded. They don't care if you are 2 or 200 years old. They card. I don't buy that stuff anyways, so I don't need to worry. I feel so sorry for that cashier though. She told me she got sworn at three times that morning and she still had the rest of the day to work there. |

My husband was ID'd at a liquor store in Alberta.
The legal drinking age in Alberta = 18
My husband's age = 35.
It must have been too dark in the store for her to see all of his grey hair. |

| I still think it is amazing that bouncers at clubs here in Vancouver ID everyone who goes in... even if you CLEARLY look over the age of 19. So many times here I have to fumble for my driver's ID, totally forgetting I had to take it out in the first place while the people ahead and behind me had it all prepared... strange. |
