				| Hello all, i'm returning to Korea for a new position after a six week break back in the states. i was told i'd receive the info for my visa etc. beforehand...so i purchased a one-way ticket leaving this weekend.
the problem is that i just received an email with a visa number from the school, however, the korean consulate in chicago told me it was too late to complete the paperwork before i leave.

i'm wondering if there will be a problem returning to korea...i'm assuming i'll be doing a visa run next week...but i've heard conflicting things about coming into korea with a one-way ticket.

 any info?

 thanks all_

Your air carrier may or may NOT let you board the plane in the states without an exit ticket from Korea. It is all up to the agent/clerk at the check-in counter.

Just be prepared to purchase a "REFUNDABLE" ticket out of the country when you are at the airport. When you get here, cancel it and get your refund.
