| Before I leave, I would like to get my diploma. I arrived in June. Should immigration still have it, or should the school? |

Your school is holding your diploma. Immigration does NOT keep that document, They just make a copy. |

I was under the impression that I had to send it to get approved for a visa. It could have been worse. My passport was actually held for a week while I was waiting on my ARC.  |

Immi had my passport when I went to get my ARC..They sent it back within four or five days top express mail to the school.
Never give your school your originals.. |

What do you mean huh??? Have you discovered some magical way of not giving your passport to immigration to get your ARC that no one else knows about? |
