In a recent thread, a poster came on here and accused the deputy director of Golden Bough of rape. We've been very flexible with letting the one-sided bash threads live in this forum, even in the face of the accusing teachers being exposed for being full of BS, from time to time.

But accusations of rape or related criminal actions, regardless if the accused is anybody, be it another teacher, school, recruiter, etc...will get an immediate thread pull for us to review in the mod forum and communicate with the accuser, if not report the matter to authorities.

An instance such as this has caused us to also re-think how one-sided bash threads should be handled on here, and we want to make it clear that this was NOT Dave's call, nor a move to protect anyone's revenue. It's about no longer allowing free reign of BS or potentially BS stories, which dilute the job search clarity for newbs and having to listen to someone's embellished attempts at retribution. If any of you disagree with this and need a primer of the one-sided hoodwinking attempts by embellishing posters that have been known to go on here, read this thread as an example.

If there was a bonafide criminal act that occurred in this case, the authorities will look into it and we'll make public note of the matter. If the accusation is unsubstantiated and appears to have any hint of BS, then we'll hand over everything Dave and he can decide what to do with this.
