I'm noticing some demographic swings going on here at this forum. It used to be - correct me if I'm wrong- that 65% of the folk posting here were fairly negative about everything in Korea and 35% told them to stop whining or to go home. Now it seems that it's at an all time high where 80% seem like saints and no ill word can part from their mouth while the other 20% are considered with caution. Am I imagining a demographic swing here?

Also- for a long while the 65/35 trend dominated (96-2001). Then we had that little spat of time where it was a free-for-all and people were posting to see how many swear-words they could post in one sitting. Now- it seems the politically correct dominate. I did notice on one poll that persons teaching in Universities/Public schools are more abundant these days on this forum. Could that have something to do with the swing? Anyway- am I just imagining that the "don't say anything bad about anyone/anything/Korea" folk now dominate this board? (Yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaawn)

It's just it takes some time getting used to all the saintliness around here to avoid getting posts locked/edited.

Yeah, all of those saintly flamewars and saintly personal attacks/ debates that the mods let run for a few days before someone nudges them awake and they step in.

What you're probably seeing is a bunch of old-timers tired of dealing with each other's crap so they dont bother.
