I heard a rumor that a group of straight men are filing a class action lawsuit for discrimination against the show. Apparently they were told that they couldn't be hired on the set due to a conflict of interest. Is this an absurd lawsuit? Or should they the right to work on the set regardless of their sexuality?

My question is why is the word "queer" bleeped out on this website? That concerns me more than some stupid lawsuit which probably contains that oft repeated nonsensical piece of garbage term "reverse discrimintation".

It's just another frivilous lawsuit. Perhaps just a retaliation for gay people suing straight people for discrimination. We all know both cases are a line of b.s., but what can we do. I'm happy I wasn't spawned in a country that makes a mockery of the justice system.

Kind of like the "N" word- some may be taking back ownership of it and using it as a term of empowerment... but for the rest of us, we still can't use it as such.
It's kind of obvious to english teachers, I would have thought.
If you ask me, any campaign to ease filter restrictions should begin with dick rather than queer, so go *beep* yourself you queer! Wink

I hope this question is a joke.

Actually, the N-word has not been brought back to the black community, its still a derogatory and hateful word even in rap and movies despite the many attempts to bring it back to the community. I think it is unlikely that it will ever be brought back because of the generations of hatred and venom behind it.

On the other hand q-ueer is totally reclaimed by the gay community. There are q-ueer studies departments and course in Uni and there are shows and books and music using the word. If you were to call me a q-ueer I would say thank you, yes I am. If you were to call me the N-word I would kick the shit out of you.

Bloody hell. How many *beep* words are in the *beep* censor dictionary. Lets see cunt, bitch, faggot, bastard, *beep*, *beep*, shit, damn, tallywhacker, dick, cock, asshole, dike, cum guzzler, anus, dingleberry, spotted dick, punk, and flowers.

Lol, actually with my fists, don't believe the stereotypes, that's why they're called stereotypes.
