Harper's Index is one of my favorite reads... I delight in it once a month too. "Findings" at the other end of the magazine comes in a close second.

My favorite from June is: Estimated percentage of women in U.S. prisons or jails who are single mothers: 77

That's gonna yield a lot of kids in the same prisons in a few years.... what a business it is!
