This guy is a real jerk.

Man U squeezes by Glasgow Celtic by one goal. The difference in the game was a phantom penalty kick. There was no foul that warranted the call.

Then Ferguson starts bragging after the game about how his squad could have scored seven goals.

What a bunch of crap.

That's what I hate about the English. So cocky.

They were at home.

They got all the calls.

They won by one goal.

That limey ought to keep his mouth shut and be thankful they didn't come away with a loss.

Even by your standards that's complete and utter shlte!

Sir Fergie - peace be upon him - was 100% correct. United could've - and should've - scored more than 3. Celtic played remarkably well considering they play in a laughable league whereby the opposition is largely similar to the English Division 2 (two leagues below the EPL), and they're hardly the best Celtic side ever seen. But United outclassed them. It was men against boys, professionals against amateurs. It'll be totally different at Celtic because of the atmosphere, but I'll still back United.

I love Sir Fergie. He thoroughly pisses people off and that goes down very well with me. That said, this season really ought to be his last, and it's a little late in coming.

That's so typically English.

You're awfully arrogant for a country that really isn't that good at football.

Haha i know this is a wind up and you know he's Scottish anyway, but thats the thing with Scots they hate the English, but the English don't give a second thought to it. Maybe because Scotland is Englands "little brother" at best, or we just don't care full stop

I'm not Scottish. I'm American.

Remember?

We're the country that saved you from the Nazis and the Red Army.

But that's ok, little brother. We were glad to help.

You haven't a clue, have you?

The English are loved in America. I should know - I've been three times. Girls go giggly at my accent, and even for an average chap like me it's a total sh@gfest.

The English - at best - don't give a toss about the Scots. England's population is 50 million and rising. Scotland's is 5 million and falling. England runs the whole show. Scotland should be grateful to England for not obliterating them and their shltty little culture. There's much more of an analogy between Canada and America than England and America. The latter are allies, very good friends, very little resentment between them.

Yes, thanks for saving us in the World Wars. Better late than never. Sorry we were unable to return the favour and help in Vietnam.

But, returning to Sir Fergie, I admire men like him. He's the boss. Like Don Corlioni or Kaiser Soze or Saddam Hussein, he's just born to be the boss. Piss him off, and you've hell to pay. Sir Fergie's bad temper and rollickings - the infamous "hairdrier treatment" - strike terror into the hearts of grown men.

is it 100% English? i mean, i know the guy's from the US, but i really don't know that many Englishmen who are 100% behind anybody in their country. i mean, i read the Guardian's match reports on England during the World Cup -- they were meaner than any other match reports about any other country.

That's so typically English.

aaa!!! damn esl cafe didn't post what i posted!!!

okay, so what i wanted to say was that i don't think that that 100% pro-england attitude has anything to do with being english. i've never heard a single englishman say anything good about anyone from their own country. i mean, the whole reason i read the Guardian's reports on the World Cup was how negative they were about their own team! it was freaking hilarious!
