The new Mars Volta album, due to be released Sept. 12, is being leaked on bittorrents, and p2p programs such as Soulseek (slsk.net). I'm listening to it now, and it's much better than Frances the Mute was.

| Just finished it. Dafenityl an awesome album. It starts out reallly slow, then becomes a bit exciting, culminating to a classic Mars Volta ending. Hyper, howling, ecstatic, at which point it slows way down and the last track is a lagoon to cool off your ears. The bass in this album is impressive, also. I'm not sure who it is.. first album was with Flea. Do they have a set bassist yet? Dunno. |
