So I arrive at Gimhae Airport today, a teacher from my school is there to pick me up, he takes me out to the Outback in Changwon to welcome me back, and how it feel nice to be home apart from the humidity. We get to the Outback and the place is swarming with kids. Then suddenly as we're moving to our table I feel something jab my lower right buttock, wheel around, and a little girl is running away, looking back and laughing. I made it almost two years in this country without getting dong-chimmed, but this time around can't make it an hour. And what kind of society can raise up a little 7-9-year-old girl who thinks it's a great idea to run up to a random foreigner and poke him in the bum? How I wish I were her public school teacher, though I hate to think of what kind of hell the foreign teachers at her hogwan go through no doubt expected to endure if not help produce little monsters like her.

Oh well, it's still nice to be back. I guess I'll go spit on the street and have soju with my elders from work.

I would've gone and had a few choice words with the parents.

I did on the airplane last time I flew over. Typical adjosshi dad is sleeping and not paying attention to his kids that are throwing garbage all over the place and being a complete annoyance. He was pretty shocked when I told him that if he wasn't going to do his job that I would fucking do it for him.

i was out at the local chon won store and this random 6 year old boy comes running up and dong chimms me twice Shocked

!!!! i didnt see him the first time but i ran after him in the store...quickly paid for my stuff and left....i had heard of this happening to other people but its usually by the kids they teach not some random kid they meet downtown!!! i wish i knew some korean so i could inform the parents (not that they would care anyway)

Was kneeling by my scooter while I was loading some boxes onto the back of it. I hear the voice of an angel cry "Adjushi", I turn around quite shocked as no one ever calls me adjushi. Just as I catch a glimpse of a 4/5 year old girl, she needles my butt to the cry of "Ddong-chim". I'm quite shocked that such a sweet little girl could do such a disgusting thing, especially whilst her Dad's just in the foreground. I managed to let a couple of muffled "Na-bbeun-nidas" as she runs back to her Dad, who half-hearted reprimands her but noticeably doesn't acknowledge or apologize to me for his daughter's actions. I was sensing he was kinda proud of his little gem of child!

I witnessed a mom ddong-chimming her very young son at the airport last week! Of course, I had a smug little laugh to myself about mom training that one up correctly...no wonder kids think it's okay when their parents teach it to them, or don't correct them when they catch a random adjosshi off-guard (I feel your pain Kimchi).

My first 5 minutes teaching in Korea I had a student smack me in the nads.He thought it was uproariously funny until ,by reflex action,my arm came out and caught him across the face leaving him out cold.

Was unintentional,but it learned him.
