I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Khan Language Institute in Jinju City. I've checked Dave's as well as most of the black and grey lists I've found and havent come up with much. I've also tried to Google it with no success. I appreciate any info anyone might have. |

I received a contract from that school. It looked OK except the income tax was mentioned at 3-5%, which everybody seems to do, even though the 2.0 million per month offered has an income tax of exactly 28,950 won (as on that website: http://nts.go.kr/front/service/refer_cal/gani/refer_gani_eng.asp)
No mention of air con in the housing part.
I would try for a higher salary. At least 2.1.
I've never been to Jinju so cannot say what it's like, though I haven't really heard any bad about it. It's a small city for Korea (around 300,000 people) |
