The Daegu Authors Writing Group is looking for new members. We meet weekly on alternate Thursdays (from 9pm) and Saturdays (from 5pm). We usually meet for dinner and/or a beer downtown, but can also alternate neighborhoods. You don't have to print off your work for others, or provide it in advance. We just read out loud to each other, then have a good chat after. For more information contact Rachel: [email protected].

The next meeting of the Daegu Authors Writing Group (DAWG) will be this coming Saturday, March 25th, from 5pm, starting at the Seattle's Best coffee shop downtown, and possibly moving from there to somewhere with beer &/or food. You don't have to pre-provide writing or bring copies, just bring something (any genre fine) to read out loud. For more info etc contact [email protected]

DAWG is still going strong. Nowadays we meet on Sundays from 5, though for just a few weeks we're meeting from 6 (so some Sunday workers can make it). We meet at Seattle's Best Coffee downtown at first, and then move on elsewhere sometimes - and/or go for dinner afterwards. If you like to write and want to share your work, or just want to listen to good writing, please feel free to turn up. All genres welcome. You don't need to bring copies for anyone else: just one for you to read aloud from. Next meeting: Seattle's Best, from 6pm, this coming Sunday, August 27th. PM me if you have any questions.
