Definately water. I have started bringing in a two litre bottle of mineral water with me to work and drinking it throughout the day has really helped me.

a shot of cocaine. Does the trick every time.

Seriously though, why are you not energetic? Bad week? Stress? Change of diet or sleeping pattern?

Regular exercise helps a lot, even if it's just a walk around the neighborhood.

I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Execise everyday. Eating lots of fruits and veggies...easy on the processed food, sugar and grease. Mostly cooking at home and never eating ramen or fast food. Vitamins. Lots of water. Watching the weight...when I feel fat and out of shape, the rest of my life tends to suck as well.

Maybe a week or two in Thailand will do the trick. Get some sun, fun, and relaxation.

Energy up? Down time.

Give yourself a chance to unwind, forget the class, lessons and even being in a foreign country. Play your favorite music, read a good book, eat familiar food and get plenty of rest.

You'll be right as rain in no time.

oh, and regular exercise is a big help.

Yeah, I also get post vacation lethargy. A vacation from a vacation seems like the ideal remedy... I also try to include some set weeks which make less of a demand of me in the class. For example, set a week aside for student's presentations where they do all the work. Include some testing. Include a video week (or half a dozen). Give them a research project in the library or on computers. Take time out to let students make some deco for the class. Take the students out to play. Anything where you can try and reduce some of the workload and avoid burnout.
