I have notced, in Korea, that women prefer to hand-wash their panties in the sink. Is this something that women from most other countries do as well?

If their washing machines are like the one in my apartment, it is probably because anything more delicate than a workman's overall gets shredded to bits.

That's what washing meshes are for! Women are stupid if they wash ANYTHING by hand - and I am a woman. I have a delicate setting on my washing machine and I use clothes meshes. Nothing of mine gets shred to pieces.

I've heard of people having a special pot to boil them in.

Some people in a certain, um, "profession", or just some people in general? Mr. Green

Hey, I don't HAVE a washing machine. Washing things in the sink is a necessity sometimes!! I take pants and shirts to the laundry service about once a week, but I do small things (socks, undies, sometimes t-shirts) by hand just because it gets expensive. I could buy a washer, but I have a tiny apartment. The only place it would fit is the bathroom, and I don't want to climb over it every time I take a shower.
