I saw a job posting for an English teacher, but here's the weird thing: the school is owned by two foreigners. One guy is from America and the other guy is from Canada.
Would you be more likely to trust a foreign boss than a Korean boss? Or would you think that race and nationality knows no loyalty? |

I don't know if trust is the right word, but with foreign owners you won't have the communication problems that so often occur with Korean owners. You can also expect a more western-style management approach--not that that will solve all problems. Just think how often people you know at home get pissed off at the boss. |

I would much rather deal with English speaking employers than non...Hence, no communication problems, understanding of foreigners going to teach in SK, and the problems they would encounter and know what we are used to in the states and in Canada..
I would consider the job. |
