This is a little off-topic, but did anyone else notice the full-page "Special Report" in Saturday's Korean Herald covering Tracy MacGrady's stop in Korea to plug his new "limited edition" T-MAC1 basketball shoes marketed by Adidas specifically for the Asia-Pacific region?

It's obviously a full-page ad, but the top half is an "article" with the following quote from T-MAC as the heading: "Korean basketball has great potential to grow" - and he's pictured shaking hands with top Korean player, Kim Ju-sung, amidst a sea of Adidas logos...

The bottom half page is frankly titled "Adidas launches limited edition basketball shoes"...

Both articles are authored by Choi He-suk, who probably is getting some remuneration from Adidas. Nowhere is it mentioned that the entire page is a paid advertisement, and, as usual, all the other sports news is crammed onto one page...

Not that I have any real complaints - I like basketball - and I sometimes wish that I could afford top-of-the-line basketball footwear. I also just visited the Basketball Hall of Fame at my old hometown, Springfield, Mass., last week... I've seen MacGrady play many times for the Magic when I lived in Orlando. (Even with chronic back problems he's been one of the best elite NBA players...)

I saw that article or something like it online, maybe on another site cuz it didn't seem like an ad... maybe I was suckered in too.
