I've just read the FAQ and couldn't find the answer. I'm asking on behalf of a friend so that he doesn't have to register for a username etc.

Friend at home is considering coming to Korea. He has a degree, his wife doesn't. We know that she would be ineligible for teaching but is she able to live with him in Korea without working, and possibly do something like attend university classes?

Thanks for any replies.

Hi
Your friend's wife will need to apply for an F3 visa. They can get detailed information on how to apply by going to a Korean Embassy page or by phoning the embassy in their country.
As for studying here on an F3 visa I'm not sure - I don't see any reason why not though.
