Does anyone here know if flights will still be available, and where the cheapest place to fly into would be? (I assume that wouldn't be Tokyo). I'm looking for the cheapest flight option from Korea. I've tried a few search engines and internet hunts, but I'm not getting anything solid.
Can anyone recommend a travel agent?
Thanks |

You can still get flights to Tokyo for Chuseok but you're looking at almost double the regular rate. Plan to pay about 500,000. |

I don't necessarily have to go to Tokyo - anywhere cheaper and less travelled would be fine too.
I guess I was hoping that someone would know of some magical website, or magical travel agent who could help me out on the cheap haha

Take the bus down to Busan and then take the ferry over to Fukuoka... if tickets are still available it would be alot cheaper. |

Go through Kangsan travel in Busan (you can do it from anywhere in Korea). They have a hydrofoil to Fukuoka (three hour comfy trip, not a bumpfest) + 1 or 2 nights accommodation package for 200 bucks, and the hotel is the Central Hotel, nice and well located. |

Ferry is pretty much booked out..
You would have to reserve this week or rely on some late cancellations |

I was thinking of taking my car over but don't even know if there is a car ferry. I'll have to look around. |
