There aren't many details coming out yet, but I'd like to know what the break in the case was which led to this arrest, and whether or not he has any connection with the parents. It'll be interesting to follow in the days, weeks and months ahead.

What, if any, evidence in this case was given to support the idea that someone who ISN'T a family member committed the murder? Who kidnaps someone in the victims home on Christmas Day (?), remains there to pen A ROUGH DRAFT AND FINAL COPY of a ransom note, only to kill the hostage and depart with the ransom?

Is the perp a ninja? How did they sneak into someone's house on a holiday and kidnap a child that was a mere shout away from her parents?

Where was the point of entry? The basement window on the side of the house that is too small for an adult to enter and had NO footprints outside in the newly fallen snow?

Patsy Ramsey is dead, and the father still protests too much.

You listen too much to that woman on Larry King LIVE and the equivalents. Laughing

Misinformation in the media abound.

Let's just say the police wouldn't arrest and extradite a guy so many year safter the fact unless they've got some pretty good evidence. Innocent until proven guilty, and hopefully the trial will be open for those who want to follow the facts.

Sounds like PaperTiger's conviction that a family member was responsible is being shaken. The truth is not always what it may appear.

Right. If the police are so infallible, why did it take them ten years to catch this clown? If iron-clad evidence existed that someone outside the family had done it, why has it taken so long to obtain it. I'm not saying I know what happened, I just think it's not that simple. They knew this guy and tried to cover it up. He fled the country and someone assisted in concealing his role in the murder.

How long is this whole process of the crime supposed to have taken place? Did he really have such an extravagant luxury of time? It seems like it would've taken several hours to do all that had been done, the likelyhod that he did so undetected just seems pretty scant.

Misinformation? What in the mainstream media is an unimpeachable source of reliable news coverage? It's all spin and misdirection. How is it you posess a superior BS meter than the rest of humanity?

I wouldn't watch Larry King if you sat me down with pure Rainbow Family liquid LSD and an ounce of K13. Okay, I would...but I normally never watch Larry King. That guy's a tw@t.

I believe the suspect, John Mark Karr, is a school teacher from Georgia.
The Ramsey family has ties to Georgia.

What's irritating is the amount of non-information CNN (and others) tend to spout off, just to have something 'fresh' on the air.

"Here is a former girl scout who used to sell Karr cookies"

What's next?

"And across town there's a Pakistani restaurant where he used to floss his teeth."

Report it then move on; why do they insist on spending 20 minutes talking about some presumed killer when the real truth is not yet known?

The guy is an English teacher in Thailand? And it's not Gary Glitter?

At least he's not teaching ESL in Korea.

He's confessed to the killing and is reported to know details that have not been public. Case pretty much closed.

Oh, whoops that was the other thread!
