I think you can get cheaper oat meal at Songtan near the Osan base. You have to ask around and go into the alleys of Songtan and you will find the American stuff.

You can buy a tub of oatmeal (2 1/2 pounds/1.19 kg) for around 10,000 won in Namdaemun. Add some protein powder and that's usually what I call breakfast. ^^

Oh! Oh! I got the same box from Costco. Good for you..

N.B. the flavors are:
Banana Bread
Cinnamon Roll (my fave)
Apples & Cinnamon
Maple syrup & brown sugar
Peaches & cream
Regular flavor

IMHO regular flavor is a rip-off. Does anybody really plain oatmeal? Who do they think they're fooling? If poker was played with oatmeal packets, it would be:
10 = Maple & brown sugar
J = Apples & cinnamon
Q = Banana bread
K = Peaches & Cream
A = Cinnamon Roll
everything else = regular flavor

Capitalism at it's best. Not much of a choice but buy the damn crappy regular. I just use brown sugar Smile
