Foreign Food Mart in Itaewon.
702-3313
Hanam Chain near Itaewon in the basement of the Volvo dealership.
793-0082
Haddon Supermarket near Oksu Station on line 3.
794-0511
Hoehyeon, one stop away from Seoul Station on line 4, has several imported food shops. But they are not easy to find, so take a Korean friend.
Lotte across from Onnuri church in Seobinggo has a small shop with a lot of variety.
The convenience store next to the Seobinggo Station stairs, on the way to Onurri, has a lot of imported food. |

Thanks for the info, though some more specific directions would be nice.
The Hannam Mart near Iteawon is actually closer to Hangangjin Station. Go to Hangangjin Station and go out *I think* exit 2 or 3. Well, you'd better check the map in the subway station... Go out whichever exit leads to a road which turns right sharply 180 degrees. When you're on that road, midway through the turn, cross the bridge which passes over the road so that you're on the side of the road that's on the outside of the turn. Keep following the turn and then walk straight a little while. Soon you'll see a Volvo dealership. When you see the Volvo dealership you'll see some stairs leading down to Hannam Mart.
There's also a place in Shinchon (the one between Ehwa University and Hongik University) where lots of individual dealers are selling some American products, including deoderant and protein powder. Go out exit 7 or 8 (I forget which one), whichever one is on the right side when you're inside the subway station facing both exits. Walk straight along the street but keep looking down and to your left. After about 30 seconds you'll see an area under a building where there are people selling stuff. Go down and look around. Hannam Mart has a lot more stuff, though.
If a message were made with specific directions to all these places, it would be a nice sticky. |

Best place for expats to get information is in the tourism office of the Itaewon subway station. They speak English, they have a lot of information, and their information is precise and accurate. |

Songtan black market - walk around until you see a traditional market, hard to explain where it is
Shinchon - one of the corners close to the intersection; leads to ganghwado bus stop |
