Does anybody know what the process is like for going on a E2 visa run to Bangkok?
How long does it take to get processed?
What are the Embassy's hours of operation?
What is the name of the Subway stop that the Embassy is close to?
Thanks. |

Its a ways from a subway stop, you are better off taking a taxi and having him stick around as its off a main road way out in the sticks, the embassy has a web site with taxi directions in thai or they will fax it to your hotel etc
costs are like 1800 baht for a multiple, 2000 for a single entry
you drop off your app, passport etc in the afternoon and pick it up the next morning |

The subway Phra Ram 9 stop is a good stop to use. Hogwonguy is right though it is still a 10 min. taxi ride from there. I don't think it is a bad idea to take the subway to this stop at least the taxis drivers in this area know where the embassy is.
This is also the stop for Fortune Town. Fortune Town is a large IT center with some good computer gear. There are also several western style restaurants here.
This link is for the Sky Train all the information is about the Sky Train, but it also shows the subway line on the map in blue. http://www.bts.co.th/en/map.asp
Take care |

Any updates needed here? How long does it take to process the E2 visa, and what days can you drop your passport off?
Thanks. |
