I've posted this before but received no answers.
I want to know what to look for on food labels.
For example how do I tell whole milk from skim?
How can I tell if the milk has additives? Someone said some milk has added caffiene.

Skim milk tastes like regurgitated smegma. Whole milk tastes yummy.
I htink there's only one or two brands of skim in all of Korea, actually.... |

Well... for a starter, I should think you need to read Korean to be able to tell them apart??
low fat is 저지방.
Not sure what fat free is.. |

I have skim milk it says "chi-bang-che-ro u-yu" on the carton. I don't know how to type in Korean, but maybe someone else can do it for you. "Chi-bang" is fat. "U-yu" is milk. Anyone know if "che-ro" means free or without?
It comes in a plastic carton with a light blue lid and label.
I have no idea about the additives. |

| A little common sense goes a long way. Just look for the 0%. It does the trick for me. Some say 1%, some 1.5, some 2.0, some 2.5. It really isn't that hard even if you don't read Korean or know the words. |

Different brands have different colors, so that doesn't always work.
GT milk (Good Taste...) the green is the low fat, but it's still 1.5%, but blue is whole milk 3.5%
For SeoulMilk, blue is lowfat, 1%, while green is whole
I've only ever found one skim milk here. I don't know what brand it was, but it said 0% and Cholesterol free all over the bottle (it was a 970ml plastic bottle, next to the Mother's Milk ) |
