I remember playnig Madden in the early 90's. I believe it was 2 or 3. My roomates and I had a league. We even kept stats - and this was in the days before the game kept the stats for you. So for every game we had to have an observer / stat keeper. My team was KC. If you ran the half back option, the ball was handed off to WR2. In the case of KC, it was JJ Birden, with his 15 speed. And the guy rarely ever tired out. He was the all-purpose receiver, runner, and passer who was virtually impossible to stop. He could run across the field, reverse, run back across the field, and still have the stamina to throw 50 yards downfield or run for an easy 20 yard pick up. My only mistake was succombing to the compaints of my roommates and not running every single play through him. He was still among the top rushers, passers, and receivers in our league. |
