| You might consider a Goshiwon or Gositell. Check around any of the university districts or, ask at one of the English-speaking budongsans in the Itaewon/Noksapyung area. |

The red herring. I agree with abf - just get a gosiwan, you can probably get a reduced monthly rate until you find something better. I know it's not pretty (no offense to those who live there), but there are also lots of apts in Haebunchon (near Itaewon) that don't require key money, with about 500,000 won rent. My friend used to live there about a year ago. |
