I leave for Korea on Sunday. I was wondering if by an outside chance anyone else is traveling from Toronto to Incheon Sunday?

Awe, aren't we clever... I asked because I've learned from traveling that meeting new people is the best part of the experience. And the chance to make a random connection with a stranger, to me, is a fantastic opportunity. Don't be so bloody cynical.

I would think going to a hole new country is meeting new people from that country, not to meet people you already know from your native country. If your coming to Korea half of your countries people already live in Korea so I am sure if you walk out on the streets of Korea you will find people that speak your lovely American accent. It's quite funny to see actually the arrogance of these people. They think they are the best thing in the world, and go around telling people they are the best country in the world, yet for some reason lack the intelligence in their own country so have to invade poor countries like Korea. They have to make sure everyone in the world knows they are Canadian, by carrying their flag wherever they go. Please I hope your not like this at all! just speaking from experience living in Korea.
Good luck to ya. I am sure you will fit right in here. |

Why are Canuckians so tight arsed. I mean I know they can't read the real English out there. But any time you say something bad about what Canadians do, they get all defensive about themselves and start waving their stupid maple leaf flag. I mean I actually have Canadian friends who don't have a fake degree and also aren't losers. But in my experience in Korea the most foreigners that I have met, for some reason are Canadian in Korea and also the most strangest foreigners I have met are Canadians. Is is that hard knowing you are the back door to America, you speak the same damn language as the Americans do and you are also white like most Americans. When are you going to wake up and smell the coffee? You aren't that special?
I have heard this saying many time from you weird ass Canadians to a hagwan boss. "You are lucky to have me here because I come from the best University in Canada, so you better take care of me!" This is quite funny as one Canadian gets replaced by another moosehead just like that.
So good luck to you all. Keep waving your flag and saying how proud you are to be Canuckian. God save the queen |

I am going fishing here that is all. Just seeing how many complete tossers will actually write back. Your prose is pretty mashed? That is all you could reply with. That is pretty harsh and really hurt my feelings. If you actually bothered to read my post, I said the way you speak is American, which for some reason if you are educated is different to the way British people speak English.
Sure I am always telling Koreans that Canada is the second best country to live in the world. That really makes a lot of sense and giving them the lovely maple leaf that they are so proud of.
keep up the good work. I wonder who gave you a fake degree? |

Wouldn't you know if anyone else was traveling as soon as you stepped on the plane in Toronto? |

poor kid was just asking a question, give him a break.
i doubt anyone who posts here is travelling from t.o. to korea that day.
the beauty, or horror, of travelling is who ends up sitting next to you on a plane. good luck with it, op.
altho, personally, i like to take a book, headphones, and ignore everyone around me as much as i can. unless there's a lot of turbulence...then i ask the person next to me to hold me. |
