Hey all,
Going through a couple of different recruiters and I am at the point where both are requesting a firm comment from me on the schools. Problem is I am having difficulty choosing between the two schools (more importantly the location of the school) and would like as much input from the more Korea savvy Dave's posters as possible. I am personally looking for a position that is close to a large city that has an active nightlife scene or is at least within reasonable traveling distance.
Any and all advice is welcome.
Thanks,
Bobby |

| I'd move to Yongin because it's cleaner and is not far at all from Bundang-gu, Seongnam City and other decent-enough areas such as Suwon and Osan's Songtan neighbourhood (many say that Songtan is like I'taewon except it's cheaper and more laid back). |

Bundang is nice, but how convenient is Suji if you don't have a car? It's a little further out ... is it even on the subway line? I think we need more info before we can decide your life for you.

Suji has regular city bus service to Suwon (Yeongton, Namun, Aju-dae), express city buses to Seoul and subway connections (bottom of the yellow line).
More important than location (they are both within an easy commute to Seoul, Suwon and Bundang) are the references of the schools. A year is a long time to be stuck somewhere you don't want to work.
DON'T let some recruiter pressure you into signing ANYTHING. They get paid and move on the moment you do. They are just an introduction service. They will NOT hold your hand when the *beep* hits the fan after you are here.
Check it all out first.
Then sign at your leisure. 20,000 teachers needed. 10,000 applicants. There is NO rush. |

| Good points, but I'd prefer a more central area than either of those two. Even Bundang isn't really central enough, but it's nice and still relatively convenient. |

| Suji is not on the subway line. You'll have to take a short bus ride to Migeum to catch the Bundang line. |
