i have read that some people felt the motorcycle license test was really hard, yet others said it was really easy. The Koreans i have spoken to said it was easy. that leads me to think a few possilbe things.
Is there some part that is being lost in the translation making it difficult for foreigners?
Are the graders just prejudiced? that wouldnt surprise me.
Or are the foreigners that are failing it just not as good of a driver as they think they are?
so what is on the test? what do i need to be able to do? the test places are a few hours away from my town, so i dont feel like going "just to fail and find out." thanks |

Tring to show you a useful post about tests....

Though the course is difficult, it's equally difficult for Koreans and foreigners alike. And the people at the license center aren't courtious or friendly, but they are fair and went a little out of their way to help me out specially when it came to taking the written test. |

About six percent of the contestants passed when I went for the test in Daegu. Those who failed lost balance and went over the line to cross the lane sensors in the first fifteen feet of the first bit, the zig zag. Then they'd beep it again a very short bit later, still on the zig zag.
After the zig zag is the long, S curve. Then a pylons threading. Then a straight bit.
The zig zag is the most difficult part and it's right in your face from the start.
Fiendish!!!!! |
