|
|
Can someone help me configure a mini PC with DVI out capabilities (network, usb etc).
I'd like to see if anyone can build one for less than 450,000 won. |

easy enough. What do you mean by "mini"?
In regards to DVI and the price you want, get the cheapest video card with dvi out.
I need to know what mini means first. |

Are there any motherboards with onboard graphics and which support DVI?
I think you can't get around needing a video card for DVI, can you?
Which would make your pc Shuttle-sized at least, nothing as small as a mini mac... |

Yeah...I was off base on the DVI thing. I guess it was a knee-jerk response to the Macaddicts and their minimac stuff.
The price...yeah...makes one want to get out the tinsnips and buy a sheet of aluminum... |

Thanks for that, someone knows his stuff
Although there probably aren't any ready made mini PCs (or shuttle-size) with built-in DVI, I believe there are some motherboards out there that do.
Really want to build that TV/movie viewing system with my 30". |

There are some. I just don't know if they're in your price range. |

Wow, can't quite beat 450,000 won but that's not bad for playing some minor games on. |

OK I found my solution and it will cost me around 450,000 won with TV tuner and 300GB hard drive! I tried comparing to a Mac mini but mini didn't have TV tuner, had a smaller HD (only 60GB) and its remote isn't extensive enough. Plus the mini cost a minimum of 660,000 won.
Stay tuned |
