Just accidentally hit the SPAM button instead of delete on my recent Dave's ESL notifications...
I looked around my yahoo mail for a while, but couldn't figure out how to undo it.
Any ideas? |

When the next one appears in your spam file, open it and click on the "Folder" button. You can then select a folder to return it to i.e the Inbox.
I don't think that's a permenant solution to your problem though.

I've been clicking my daily messages from the NRA as spam for over two years now. THey still keep popping up in my inbox. I wouldn't worry too much. Yahoo's filtering system is NOT that great. |

yup.... next time you get one, it goes in the bulk folder. click on it and you will see a bar at the top that says "NOT SPAM". click it and it will return to your inbox (along with all future similar posts). |

What she said. I've got stuff coming to my yahoo account that I want to unsubscribe from, and can't, and although I've repeatedly tried to claim it as spam, yahoo continues to deliver it to my inbox. |

Go to Options (upper right hand corner when in Mailbox)
Go to Spam Protection

Mark Spam + Not Spam
When I mark a message as Spam, in addition to deleting the message:
Add the sender's email address to my blocked addresses list |
^^^^^ check this box
or go to blocked addresses and enter the email address or domain name you want to block.

I've done that repeatedly. I've also contacted the NRA and done everything including threatening to bomb them to get them to take me off the list. THey still keep e-mailing me. |
