Anyone hear of that?

I have a laptop, and it'll just continuously hit the '7' key over and over.. and occassionally if I hit enough other keys.. then a series of other numbers will come up as well.

I even took the '7' key apart on the keyboard.. but same problem - plus that other sequence of numbers that comes up when I hit other keys. Seems like a virus?

Anyone hear of anything like that before?

If you get a chance, please try this out and let us know if the keyboard is properly functioning:

http://www.passmark.com/products/keytest.htm

This should tell you in your keyboard is functioning properly, or if something is messed up with the kbd.sys file. If the kbd.sys file is messed up, just copy a good one from a good OS. That's all.
