Hi,

For those bikers out there, have you taken a trip from Seoul to the East coast before (the Northern part)? How long does it take?

Obviously I would need to avoid the expressways being on a motorbike, so any recommendations on which route to take would be great...

Thanks

On a motorbike you can go around traffic so if you have enough power to climb the hills without dragging then it is a 3-6 hour ride (depending on where you want to hit the coast and where in Seoul you are departing from.

If you really want to see the country, go by bicycle. The bonus is there are cycling groupies at every beach. Look here: http://www.brianenglish.net/cyclingkorea.htm

Thanks for the replies..

Ever since I got into motorbiking, I haven't looked back - that means no pushbikes for the time being.

So, anyone taken this trip before? I'd love to hear the route exactly... (3-6 hours sounds fine!)
