Anyone know a good place in Seoul or Incheon to get cross stitch patterns and supplies??? I'm trying to get back into it after a long break, but I need the materials. Any help would be appreciated |

4th floor (I think) of the Dongdaemun Market building. 2nd floor has fabrics. I'm pretty sure floss and other kinds of string are on the 4th floor. There is a very small cross stitch shop in Beomgye (Anyang) if you're in the suburbs. They have some patterns, but you should be able to find what you need at Dongdaemun. |

Hey Cross Stitchers are a wild and crazy bunch. I hear that knitters are crazy women though! |

Yo,
Ok, I believe that no matter where you go the type of store you want to go into is a "Sooyejeom" (수예점). Ask some Korean friends/co-workers and they should know where one is. Whenever my wife went into one they were always in a spot you'd never expect one.
We usually found them whilst looking for something else and just moseyed in (yes, we Helmuts mosey).

Seems like there are little cross stitch stores eveywhere. I bought some fantastic patterns at a little hole-in-the-wall spot here in Gwangju.
Too bad I don't have any time to make them! |
