"Eight junior officials quit Wednesday to insist on Blair's resignation and news reports said Blair and Treasury chief Gordon Brown, who is likely to be the next prime minister, had shouting arguments in Blair's office about a handover date"

The hyaenas are closing in. Personally I never liked Gordon brown. However it'd be nice to be rid of Blair and have a new face sooner rather than later. If Blair announces he will resign next year, that may may placate most in his party. Although I hope he goes sooner.
he looks very uncomfortable. No allies left now. |
