|

Mike and Dave's Speakeasy in downtown Gwangju - jeollanamdo province has had a great summer of live music and DJ's. I'd like to thank "The 40 Days" "Norton Scott" "Team Dread" and "DJ Steven Moore" all for coming down to Gwangju and rocking our bar.
The local waygook crowd that comes in every week really love live music and honestly, my tired house band can't do it all!
We're still interested in booking out of town bands and DJs to pay us a visit and party hard with us. If you or your friends are musicians or DJs and you're up for a road trip to Gwangju we'll welcome you, feed you tacos and beer, find you a motel and give you some cash for your troubles. I think that's a good deal!

There are a few bars downtown that are frequented by Expats in Gwangju - We're talking about Gwangju Jeollanamdo in the South West of the country. These days the two big Waygook hangouts are our very own Speakeasy - there's a map on the website www.mdspeakeasy.com and also Soul Train which is about a 4 minute walk down the road.
See you at Speakeasy |
