--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, today was my last day of actual teaching (and with the new teacher observing the whole day and a group of 7 Fillipino teachers-to-be with 3 Korean teacher escorts watching for part of the day it was a stressful one!)
I'm coming back on Monday to give the new guy a chance to watch what goes on in the other classrooms, and also to have to say goodbye under more comfortable circumstances, without any outsiders in my classroom.
I'm planning on buying some snacks at Costco during the weekend, and I don't care if the kids learn a thing on Monday -- in fact, I'll probably speak mostly in Korean myself, but if anyone could think of something other than eating to do on my last day with the kids, I'd love to hear it. My students are all 6 and 7 years old (Korean age) and I love them to bits. I've got almost 90 students, so nothing that costs a lot per kid. The classes are 30 minutes long each.
Oh yeah, and I'm 34 weeks pregnant, so nothing all that crazy physically strenuous either.
Thanks! |
