What's up with wearing black these days. It's the new trend this autumn and it $ucks. Supposedly all the stars are wearing it. Clothing shops are wall to wall with vetements in this color. Actually the cheaper stuff looks terrible. Arrggghhh, the insanity of it all. At least 3 Korean female staff members in the office are wearing it. The hue is generally a winter shade here.

First, where is far?

Second, do you remember back in 2003 where everyone (and, strangely, their dogs) were wearing brown?
yug.
One of the students in my adult class worked as a "fashion consultant" for LG Fashion. His job was to go through the Italian fashion magazines and decide what would be popular. He told us in Oct 2002 to buy brown clothes. Then, wouldn't you know it, 10 months later...EVERYFREAKINGONE is in brown.

You should've been here in '93 and '94... black and white, nothing but.

Why would you wear black in summer?
Doesn't black attract heat?

Dont they always wear black, gray or brown in fall here? I seem to remember every clothes shop adorned with these colours when I first got here in 2003.

Black is a hip thing right now, especially in Seoul where it looks as though those who wear it are on their way to a funeral.

I WAS here in '93-'94 and the ladies in the tight black skirts with the tall black boots and black stockings with a nice tight vest, and...calm down...calm down. To coin a decade old term, "Shhwiiinnnggg!"

And to every swing of the pendulum there is a counterswing, and in 96, it was electric lime green. I shudder still at the thought.

What a sweet job that would be- I should apply. My presentations would always be something like: "So, umm... looking at all the fashion magazines, it appears that the trend for the next ten to twenty years is miniskirts. Nothing longer than ten centimetres. I recommend all clothing stores in the country sell nothing but. Really."

Totally unrelated, but I head screech(the guy who plays him) is a really good basketball player. Is this true?

On point, black is my favorite color to wear so I'm liking this trend.
