...but you've not actually met them in real life.

Long time ago on IRC, in a #toronto channel, there was this weird guy from the UK who would come into the channel and announce:

"I will out wrestle or grapple any man in the channel!"

He would then promptly leave, I guess expecting anxious channel users to message him and take him up on his offer.

One day, to figure out his game, I messaged him, pretending like I was interested in his challenge.

1) Although he was in the UK, he would certainly come to Toronto to meet a challenger..

2) This would be conducted in the Roman style. Nude.

3) No he was not gay. Why do you even ask? What a strange question!

Denial takes many odd forms.
