Do you squeeze every last little bit of toothpaste out of the tube but hurl a ketchup bottle when it's 9/10ths empty and just becomes a pain to get ketchup out?
I do. |

The mind tends to be lazy, accepting and rejecting certain courses of action on the basis of sense gratification and previous conditioning. Higher than the mind is the intelligence. In this instance, on the intellectual platform, seeing things in proper perspective, detached from immediate sense gratification, one has to decide whether it's better to not waste the small amount of ketchup - or not waste the time it would take to get all the ketchup out. I personally would not waste the time, nor would I buy any more ketchup (unless I wanted to make John Kerry's wife a little richer by buying Heinz ketchup...) |

I try never to invite vegetarians to anything. I had some vegetarian friends back home, and they were all cool. We just planned something that everyone could partake in and there was no sermonizing or problems, on either side. I have met 8 vegetarians while travelling abroad. 8 of the 8 (that being 100% or all of them) were fricken loonie wackos whom would blow up at everybody, most especially the restaurant workers who couldn't understand a word they were saying. And that was one of their better qualities
I haven't met Rteacher so I don't know, but I just don't take the chance unless I know the person well anymore. |

Ironically, I suspect that the problem is too many parties. |

Yeah, "laogaiguk", you might get brainwashed (or abducted by aliens...)
Can't be too careful these days - best to associate with like-minded meat-eaters who know how to enjoy an animal by sticking a fork in it and savoring its blood... Don't forget to add ketchup! |

My main issue with vegetarians are the ones who profess they do it for the health benefits. They profess this with a cigarette in their mouth and a beer in hand. |

Ketchup on meat? Yuck. I like mine with barbecue sauce or steak salts. |

I need that little last bit of toothpaste, thus the extended effort. Plus I don't want to walk naked to the "suppa." Too many people get angry that way.
The ketchup, I don't need it, and the fact it's in it's present state means I've probably done tried squeezing it out probably a year ago.
Old toothpaste tastes better than old ketchup. (But not the hard kind.) |

I agree that vegetarians who act that way are rude ... It's not wise to unnecessarily disturb people by one's words or actions... |
