|
|
Hi,
Before coming over I made a post about what job to take and there were a number of responses saying go to Sanbon it's where all the action is. Well, I'm in Sanbon, right by the subway station and right in the heart of downtown, and I've yet to see any of this action. Actually, friends and I went out last night and as hard as we tried, we found NO action.... None, nadda.
So to those who told me to come to Sanbon and anyone else for that matter, where are the hotspots? What bars do people visit? Is there a foreigner favourite hangout?
Any and all info would be appreciated. |

Bar 10 is where a lot of people go, as well as some of the places up on the rooftops where you have the open air patios though I don't remember their names. Sanbon is where the action is but that's relative to the rest of the area of course. Somebody wrote on the wiki about a place called Pirate Bar but I think that was opened up after I left in 2004 so I'm not really sure what that place is like.
For more action of course you'll have to go to Anyang. |

go to pirate bar or bar 10 to meet some people on Friday or Saturday.
Anyang is very close and is pretty fun.
Send me a pm if you want to meet up with some people and go to Anyang this Saturday. |

I haven't been, but a couple weeks ago, I was told that the Pirate Bar is where everyone hangs out. Stand with your back to the front door of Kentucky Fried Chicken. The bar is in the first building behind the bank, 2nd floor. There's a big sign in English, visible from the street. No first hand experience, but that's what I've heard from folks around here. |

thanks.
Near the end of the night I was told about the pirate bar from some locals, and they also mentioned another place or two, but by the time we found this out it was WAY too late and no one was there. |
