This week I got my E7 and all it was, was an email with a
number in it. It said take this number with your passport
to any embassy or consulate and they will stamp it. I also
got my tickets to Thailand. There again, only a number. I
go to the check-in with my passport and the number and
whamo! That is it. I guess this is normal now. (Or am I
getting behind the times?) |

Pretty normal.
They have been sending out the visa confirmation number instead of the blue letter for about 2 years now.
E-tickets for airline travel have been around for about 5 years or more. |
