Does anyone know this? Did he have his ticket? Did
he build houses, cabinets or ships? He was supposed
to be kind of special so maybe he did designer furniture.
It would be really kind of ironic if he churned out crosses. |

Wasn't there a scene in a movie where Joseph is seen teaching to a young Jesus how to build a proper cross? If I remember correctly, he tells him something along the line that crosses must be built as if they were fit for a king (get it, Jesus is the king) because they support a man as his soul begins its trip to heaven . |

| What kind of a merchant was Muhammed? A ship salesman? Cattle? Chattel? Drugs? |

Truly an amusing and ironic thought, but ... did it ever really take a carpenter to make a cross? I mean Jesus, if you'll pardon the expression, even a Roman soldier in the provinces could figure out how to fix two pieces of wood together.
My guess is that He built booths for Sukkot, just because I like the way it sounds in English. |

I would guess he was a jack of all trades type of carpenter. That way he could put together whatever was needed in the town. He did live in a small town and its unlikely he would be a speciality carpenter. He probably just made whatever the hot item was at the time. |

| He was an exceptional carpenter considering he managed to create the foundation on which people could come and praise The Lord. In addition, Jesus's church was built on a foundation that was made of his people, not stone. His roof was Heaven; his walls were limitless. His structual supports were his followers and even the non-believers, for it was his ultimate goal to see those come into the good graces and loving embrace of Father. With that being said, I think Jesus was an excellent carpenter. |

| the die-for-your-sins kind. i got a buddy named Smitty who's a really good carpenter, but i don't think he'd do that. unless there was a bottle of the Glenlivet in it for him. |

Right, him being a carpenter is probably meant to be taken as a metaphor. |
