I'm planning to leave for South Korea soon for a teaching gig. So do foreign guys have a lot of luck with Korean women? If so, do you attribute your luck with . . .
1. Having an exotic look
2. Making more money than a lot of Korean men
3. Being taller than a lot of Korean men
Speaking of being tall, what's the average height of Korean guys and gals? |

Hmm. I'm not sure your coming here for all the right reasons. Anyway. Are Korean women attainalbe? Yes. But there are plently of Korean guys with money. It's not like you get off the plane and are instantly surrounded by a bevy of oriental beauties. If that's what your looking for, try Thailand or the Philipines.

Thats true, esl teachers are on a par with most Korean "businessmen" and the chicks here love it.

Most K-men are about 5ft7 so many of the delicious K-babes will swoon and get all excited when you enter a room. personally i pretend not to notice, but turning half of them down for drinks after hours can be a bit tiresome.

Korean guys tend to be around 5'4" at the maximum. They are very round, have really really small eyes, big buck teeth, and little to no masculinity.
Korean girls are gorgeous. Upon arrival at the airport you will be presented with a harem for your own personal use. Teaching is really simple. Just show up for 20 minutes, say "cat," "dog," "rabbit," "horse," alongside some pictures and then take off back to your harem. No problem DUDE! |

Dude: you will SCORE over here. I see you already gots the right 'tude, so let me throw some pro tips at ya:
1. Korean women LOVE pale-faced, out of shape white guys. Havin' a sugardaddy that looks like the Michelin Man makes them feel warm and secure, almost like they could curl right up into your rolls--put on some weight before you get here if you can.
2. See, everybody over here on the Yellow Continent comes to learn that Asian chickies equate chubbiness with $$$ecurity  : so even if you don't make more money than the Korean dudes(oh but you will--average monthly salary here is 37 dollars--just above the dollar a day poverty line--but you know, it's Asia, so the despot's extended family and some of the higher-up generalissimos' sons have got the dallah$ and the BMWs and can get what they want, but we have the upper hand, as it were, as you will see when you get to pro tip #3 ), the girlies will think you do! But's win-win! You see, there isn't a lot of development or technology over here and just a little flash Western gadgetry is enough to make a Korean girl go ^^ all day long! My mate down in Songtan says women come to him offering favors and happy endings after just one look at his Ipod. Dude, that is so wack cause he ain't even got a U2 Video Pod!! He's one of those idiots who invested in a Photo Ipod! WTF?? 
But seriously, don't listen to them muppets who tell you it's all about pantyhose and chocolates--it's ASIA! It's too fucking hot for the girlies for them to go runnin around in no panties and the chocolate melts ten minutes after you get out your crib(which is usually located in the middle of a rice paddy). This is what you do: tell the little girlies at the market that you got a refrigerator at your flat(Only about 50% of the contracts here offer them as a part of the furniture deal--make sure you fight for one.) Dude, Koreans ain't got no friggies in their places(they don't need them cause they bury all their pickled cabbages under da ground).
This advice is BANK. Believe me.
3. Not only are we taller(korean dudes average 4'6" and the girlies 5'2"), all of us, but everything you have heard about the Great White Snake is true. Now, the first week you are gonna notice that the first dozen or so girls waiting in the queue outside your apartment are gonna scream and wail when they first see it. But just remind them that you can refrigerate your brews and leftover macky-D's(you can get it imported in bulk from Tokyo, no worries) and they'll relax, brutha. Electronics is like an aphrodisiac over here, playa. And in the end, you aints gonna have no troubles over here. Check this out, this is Korea's top "stud" movie actor:

It's in Korean, but when you get here, just ask the manager of your language academy, or better yet--the principal of your public school (Korean men love to show their foreign employees the wonders of the Orient all around the town, it earns them "face", and the Internet is the new vehicle for this kind of advertising--bonus! 25% of the teachers here are familiar with the Internet and email, a much larger percentage than the Korean population at large...win-win!!) to type it up for you in da Hangeuls and BAM! You gonna go from oreovictim to kimchivictim LIKE DAT!

Thanks, everyone for responding. But some of you have it wrong if you think that I'm just going over there for the action. I'm not going over there for some action; I'm going there for the money, ha-ha!
Seriously, I think that it's weird when people first talk about the money to be made in Korea. You've got to like teaching, and if you go over there with money as your main priority, you'll probably be miserable. |

Fact: Korean women are the easiest in Asia.

JG, don't be a an arse. Look, Oreovictim, here's a trans:
At a Korean nightclub when you do "booking" it's easy to bed girls just through the offer of a several used paperback copies of Interchange 3, and also because they are so thankful for your Pale-Face-ness(this is lost in translation--it's closer to "Exalted Ivory-osity, but it doesn't sound quite right in English). I mean, in what other country in the world can you get the waiters to bring you pretty girls basically for free? (Tip them with light conversation and carefully folded, photocopied pages of the Oxford Picture Dictionary...)
Dude, I guarantee you can steal all the old copies of Interchange that you need from your hakwon. And I know a place in Gangnam where the girls will do it for Step-by-Step. Heaven, dude. Heaven on Earth. |

Keep in mind, as a foreigner you're competing with other foreigners for the same pool of English speaking Korean women. This usually means they're middle and upper class and probably their life plan isn't fall in love with a foreign guy, go back to North America, and work in a Korean restaurant for half a decade before her English is good enough to work in the actual field her parents sent her to university for...
If you're a hagwon teacher, you're really, really not earning more than the kind of Korean guys an English speaking Korean woman is interested in.
Your 40+ Korean males are fairly stumpy but your sub-30 Korean males are pretty tall.
It's easy to get a date in Korea but "a" is generally the operative word.
A good rule of thumb is if you've had girlfriends in North America, you'll find a woman here. If you've never had a GF or have had curiously "bad luck" and many short term relationships that ended because all white women are just stuck up b*beep*ch c*beep*t bags who can't see you're really a nice guy, well, it ain't any easier here. |
