Hi I am 38 years old and I have been offered a teaching job dim Yangpyeong city near Inch eon. I want somewhere quite (my age I think) and I believe this area is quite scenic. I come from a reasonable small town and wanted to teach somewhere I could chill out a bit. Has anyone been there and if so what is it like? how big is it? And is it reasonably tranquil?

Thanks

I live in Yangpyeong but it's an hour southeast of Seoul, not near Incheon. It's quiet here. There's about 80,000 people. The Han River is on one side and mountains are on the other. I'm sure I would call the city scenic, at least not in town. There are a few other foreign teachers in town so you won't be totally isolated. What school is it? You can PM me if you don't want to post it.
