On CNN:

They want to redefine the article Common Article 3 of the Geneva Convention that defines "humiliating", etc., acts against prisoners. This assbite says "No one knows what that is."

Scum-sucking asswipe.

Is keeping Al Qadea members from sleeping a bad thing? How about making them listen to rock music? Making them wear clothes they don't like?

Simplistic, stupid observations. Really, don't respond. You are the single most pointless poster on these forums.

Israeli Foreign Minister, reponding to comments by a former high-ranking gov't official on the final offensive AFTER the political solution had lready been reached that it was a gross violation of power done solely for political "spin", i.e, the claim of victory: Whatever we did, even if sometimes wrong, was only for the safety of Israel.

This amounts to the ends justifying the means. Always a slippery slope.

Wolf: Will you meet with the Syrian Foreign Minister at the UN?

IFM: No: they must cease support we will talk to them.

Am I the only one that sees this as absurd?

Absolutely. Al Queda can't take my freedom. In their entire history, Al Queda has killed less Americans than die in a single month on America's roads. Yet, Bush has killed almost as many Americans pretending to find Bin Laden as died on 9/11. Brilliant. He has left injured or maimed nearly TEN TIMES the number of Americans that died on 9/11. Brilliant.

As usual, Joo, you spout idiocy. Your comments have no logic: I am more afraid of the US than Al Queda. On the surface you are pulling a Bush: claiming something I have never said to create an impression of support for people and beliefs I do not support. But more deeply, you are pulling an even more insidious Bush: You are trying to create an impression that I am not a patriotic American. Yet, when you read the comments of the greatest American minds involved in creating this nation, they NEVER say the greatest threat is from without our borders. They say the greatest threats to our freedom are from WITHIN. Not being an American by birth, I am not surprised that you do not understand that our FREEDOMS are more important to us than our lives.

In the end, your basic assertion is correct, but not for the reasons you would like the users of this forum to believe. They are correct because Al Queda has virtually no power over me. They could bomb ten more buildings in the U.S., and do you know what the end result would be?? Almost nothing. But, the president taking over the powers of the congress? That destroys my freedom; my right to equal reprsentation. The president claiming ANY and ALL powers are his in times of war destroys my freedom. It means that any war gives any president the right to create ANY law he wants. That could include completely bypassing the Constitution.

I know you do not understand this, so please don't respond until you have learned more about the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Federalist Papers.

Again Al Qaeda didn't get more the 300O but not for lack of trying. Their attacks get bigger each time. Besides they can take your freedom security is freedom. and they can effect the US economy in big ways.

Al Qadea is a security threat to the US , a strategic threat to the US. Bush won't cut off your head and he won't off you for saying stuff he doesn;t like. go near Bin Laden and see what his supporters do.

show a freedom that you have lost. Besides what Bush has done is far less than what was done in WWII

If the US had the Patriot act well then maybe 9-11 would not have happend.
How is that for freedom? Freedom from terror.

I'll tell you one that we have lost. In this instance I was setting up an account with an online brokerage firm to trade stocks. Because of the laws being made tougher, I had to submit extra documents to prove who I was. This is directly related to the Patriot Act. Your SS# is not enough anymore. The government knows what your doing at all times.

Big brother is watching you!

I told you not to to respond until you had studied. You are incapable of understanding the simple comments made here. Your responses, and not just on this thread, make no sense.

you have no right to tell anyone anything cause you are a moonbat

Who thinks 10 9-11's are preferable to the Patriot act and the NSA wire taps of foreign phone calls.
