So, a long time ago, before I came to Korea, I read a blog about some guy who lived here. He was amazed that kids in school would eat grapes and spit out the skins. So was I... I couldn't figure out how they did that. So everytime after that, I would eat grapes back home and try to get the skins off in my mouth... obviously without success. So, just yeaterday, I ate my first grape in this country and, poof, it all made sense... the skin on the grapes here are a little thicker here. Sort of like a cross between a grape and a muscadine/scupperdine

:p

They also taste different and they are called "PODO"

I don't think they are actually grapes, but some sort of different species.

Does anyone have the facts on this one?
