Okay, so I'll be done in Korea at the end of February. I'm a white dude who speaks and teaches English well. I have experience with EFL both with Adults and children.... all I want to do is find a place where I can snowboard my life away for as many teaching months as possible and teach a bit of English... Who has any advice on where to go??
Thank you! - Andrew |

Hokkaido, Japan.
Niseko rocks, but a bit out of the way.
Otaru has a skifield right in the city, and they have night skiing as well. |

Bulgaria. As cheap as dust with a growing EFL sector!
Alternatively, you might need to turn your hand to working in the ski resort industry. I once worked as hotel manager, and had the afternoons free to ski. I just paid for a pair of gloves. But with pay as low as 1 dollar per hour, it won't make you rich. Find such jobs here: http://www.resortjobs.com/ Occasionally they recruit English teachers to teach in the childrens playgroup areas while the parents are on the slopes. |
